I started wondering if the mistress convinced him to dress like that for some reason, but it was really to humiliate him? It is kinda weird that they didn't address that.

did you look at the table of the restaurant they were at for their final date? they were eating a hot-pot. so everything in that pot... was contaminated by the crab and could have killed him. plus apparently it was piping burning hot... because when she threw that piece of crab in his face... he had a burn-mark above his eye!

How would they get away with giving out crab cookies? And the victim just happened to be allergic to crab? I'm sure the police would put 2 and 2 together had he died right there and then.
